If you’re Canadian and were a 1980s child, you might want to check your immunization status for measles, mumps, rubella and whooping cough. While they were part of the childhood vaccination schedule, actual vaccination rates were disturbingly low in 1970-1990. I checked myself and it turns out I never got any of these, which shocked my doctor. Fixed now! Measles and whooping cough are spreading these days and so it pays to be sure.
