I would pay cash money to figure out how to convey this to people: conservative governments do not spend money on social programs. the moment - the MOMENT - you or your family need something from the government and are turned away because there aren't enough resources, you cannot say "I voted for you!" to the conservative rulers, because - yes! you did vote for them! and this is what they do! it isn't a fucking secret! this is a FEATURE, not a BUG.
