The problem with #RishiSunak's argument that expanding the exploration & exploitation of #NorthSea #oil fields enhances the UK's #energysecurity is that, the proportion of this oil that is actually exported has grown from 60% to 80% in two decades.

It looks like either a fallacious argument (in which case Sunak is ill-infgomed) or a misdirection to support global #fossilfuel sector profits... take your pick (could be both!)
