The motor vehicles admin in MD has a program for hit and run victims. So after my sister filled out all this paperwork, the deal is that we must do the billing work for MEDICARE so they get reimbursed FIRST! Well, they're the insurance company! Paying out is their effn job! Then what's over and above what Medicare paid and after their reimbursement, the MVA decides what the victim gets to help pay the % still owed to the gov't. They asked us to do some police work, too. What a fkn SCAM!
