hmmm, could be.
though, what's a label anyway??
for me, i'm viewing the idea of a submissive "top" through the lens of a submissive.
i think the desire to be submissive is separate from the desire to be dominated. they can coexist, but not always. many have a desire to be dominated, but no desire to truly submit—they wish to receive from the dominant partner.
those who truly have a submissive heart are those who are genuinely loyal, attentive, patient, trusting, vulnerable, and filled with a willingness to please. they wish to give to the "dominant" partner.
my idea of a submissive "top" is someone who has a submissive heart (probably not described as submissive), but without the desire to be dominated.
does this make sense?
i have no idea if that is the correct terminology or not; it was just something i was thinking of.
thanks for chiming in~! ^^
