My undergrad doesn’t even offer my degree anymore (Applied Networking and Systems Admin). When last I visited campus for a tour, it was sad how badly the networking specific department and labs had been gutted and neglected. Tons of investment into dev, but finding people that truly know what TCP is doing and why, to say nothing about things like BGP or OSPF, is becoming so rare. Great for job sec, but makes me sad
