We bottle-share this Störtebeker NEIPA tonight.
It's a big scale version of a homebrew that won the German national homebrewing competition last year. Big mango aroma, passion fruit and pineapple flavors combined with a slight winyness from the Nelson Sauvin hops and a silky mouthfeel. The finish is slightly muddy like many homebrews though.
Very good for a German IPA.
But Esoteric Brewing's Odyssey is still my favorite NEIPA.
