Today I paid our 2023 tax bill and our first 2024 Estimated Tax bill using the IRS' Direct Pay online secure service. It was quite painless, although unlike our accountant's advice, it would not let me preschedule the next three Estimated Tax payments in advance. Maybe I'll try that tomorrow and see if it works.
