I ended up quitting my band this past weekend. A very emotional thing to do for me.
I was not up for playing live with set where not all members were putting in the practice (or even learning the songs).
I make no bones or apologies that Rush is my favorite band and I spent hours daily for a year learning and practicing the set. It is too important to me to do a half assed job.
I’m still super upset that about the whole deal. I don’t know how bands navigate this kind of thing. It is brutal.
