Ref Liberty Safe: if they're telling the truth and only give access codes if there's a warrant, then I don't understand the issue. If there's a search warrant, then the cops are going to get into your safe one way or another: they'll smash it (without any regard for collateral damage) or drag it off to break into it somewhere else, again without caring how much of your house they trash in the process. Isn't it better for everyone if they just get an access code?
