NIP-57 turns lightning tips into a Nostr event that can be integrated into a client UX. Tips will be received in your wallet regardless if the wallet supports it. But if you use a wallet that supports it, you will start seeing things like a tally of sats tipped to individual posts, notifications of tips in your Nostr clients, etc. Here’s an example:
