"content": "It strikes me as an odd position to take when we know that Hamas a) routinely violates the laws of war and b) routinely oppresses the same Palestinians it’s ostensibly defending. ie, why would they be fine with indiscriminate rocket attacks against civilians but not shooting down IDF medivac helicopters? Why would the Palestinian public be so precious to them as to prompt Hamas to take action to protect them?",
