In case you've been putting off tech purchases, now may be the time to move. Laptops, tablets, and desktop PC components could skyrocket 30-50% if Trump actually implements his planned tariffs. While a 10% overall tariff that he's planning would increase the cost of living for the average family by ~$1700, for those of us who use/need tech for a living or for fun...maybe now is when you get that phone upgrade, or that laptop. Maybe now is a good time to replace your CPU/mobo/RAM.
Because in 6 months, tech is going to be hit incredibly hard with price increases if these isolationist/protectionist policies go into place.
No, China is not going to absorb these tariffs.
