End of the year retrospectives everywhere, waxing nostalgic over a pretty frightful year. Full of anger, doubt, recriminations and really gutter politics, 2024 was. Not a pretty time as global warming and climate change dominated the environment while war, famine and genocide dominated geopolitics. I sincerely hope that 2025 is better, but I have my doubts. Serious doubts as those in power hang-on to their wealth and authority while the rest of us suffer and the planet burns. The angst is almost unbearable.
