We're heading out from my parents' place in the morning. Had a difficult conversation with my brother about how a Trump victory will mean I can't come back and all the elder care falls into his lap.

Had to face up to the distinct possibility that I may not see him or his family for a very long time, possibly ever again. That this may be the last time I see my parents.

I don't want the goodbyes this evening and tomorrow morning to be our last goodbyes.
