The 'battle' over hybrid working & working from home is a conflict over the control of work... what managers don't like about WFH is that workers get to enhance their own control of their working conditions.
For many workers WFH is just impossible anyway, but for those who can utilise hybrid working it has proved a benefit to both them & their employers... but, managers don't care, they want to be able to exercise control, but Labour shouldn't help them.
