It's absolutely demented. But believe it or not, I am hearing it quite a lot these days. Of course, it's always Eurocucks who 1. have never even been to the US, 2. could never in a million years legally migrate to the US.
In the meantime, after three years refusing offer after offer from my US-based client/boss to just accept a visa sponsorship and move over, I am now finally considering it (pending Trump's final moves on income tax).
