I have a 2019 Honda fit with 6 speed manual transmission and consistently get 44-46 MPG
I check my tire pressure weekly though. it matters.
it’s all flat commuting though and I get in my lane and drive 60. I just zone out and listen to podcasts.
STILL. I want to own an even more basic car. America makes it tough to even buy a basic car anymore. I think the cheapest manual transmission car you can buy today is the Nissan Versa for 17k MSRP
