The difficult part of this comes in understanding how someone's taking it. You might also end up taking the other side too seriously. I had that issue a lot, especially when I was on reddit and hadn't found my homies on nostr yet, and so very much criticism wasn't real discussion, just shit throwing and it was kinda hard to spot when someone was actually being reasonable because of the expectations.
