Bought a children's book for $ 1 from the library. Then looked up the backstory on the web and went: "Oh, a first edition copy of this sells for just under one thousand dollars."
Checked. Not a first edition. Unlikely anyway.
But what if?
Return it, of course. If they wouldn't take it, sell it and donate the proceeds to the library.
Sure, the Antiques Roadshow is rad but fund your library :-).
