It's OK if you need to rely on that stuff! Using isn't as important as organizing and taking action. If everyone used that stuff and also destroyed it, then it'd be gone overnight.
But uh... yeah it feels super skeezy and dangerous to rely on, and when that stuff does get destroyed, you'll be ready to use public transit. So there is merit in "principled stances."
