The shunning is understandable. Ideas are contagious, and your ideas are particularly dangerous to an LDS person.
Well this is interesting. Never had a Morman person throw real apologetics at me before. Usually missionaries are like "trust me bro, pray to God and he will let you know in your heart if its all true." This always struck me as weak, anyone in a vacuum can conjure up a feeling to tell them whatever they want.
