Even when sales people are like ‘this email is sus, tell me if its safe or not’ they still take the time to proselytize about phishing. It’s embarrassing. They already caught that it was weird, just give them a yes or no whether it’s safe or not. Don’t waste their time, they’re probably already understaffed like everyone else. Sometimes good emails look bad. Asking ‘were you expecting it?’ They’re sales people, it’s literally their fucking job to open emails from people they don’t fucking know!
