Only remember what nightmares were about when they resemble something that has actually happened, or involves the same people that were involved in a real event, even if the event is completely different. Think maybe it triggers my ptsd. Or maybe ptsd triggers nightmares, not sure which way anymore.. until last night, it had been a while since I struggled with this though, so was kind of hoping I had moved on so to speak. But apparently not.
