So purely theoretically:

If you sign an NDA and the large company tells you a bunch of things they are absolutely not planning to do, but essentially just a bunch of possible futures for the fediverse.

Then you, open source developer implement or talk about them at some point.

Then the megacorp threatens to sue you for NDA breach, unless of course you stop talking/implementing that feature.

Then the open source developer complies because lack of funds.
