You are technically correct but for the purposes of this discussion, it doesn’t really matter. The use of the term “Linux” in this context is about moving away from Windows and the advertising model it has adopted. My goal was not to recommend a specific distribution, kernel version, whatever , so I used the term generically. My point being that with most people doing everything inside of a browser these days, the underlying OS, kernel, etc. is far less important than it has been in the past.
