This is the funny thing. I know opinion is mostly divided between "AI is glorified autocorrect" and "AI is the new paradigm that will change humanity forever". My opinion lands somewhere in the middle, but the thing about the latter side of AI idealists is that they don't seem to really grasp that if they are right, they're talking about reducing social mobility to medieval feudal levels and freezing it there within the span of a decade. Anybody who isn't high on their own farts can forsee how that's likely to end with you getting dragged out of your mansion and ripped limb from limb.
