Another busy day making goodies for a couple of customers and prepping early Christmas gifts for friends and family. Early yeah, but I’m not sure when I’ll have time later. Thankfully, these treats last a long time.
I’ve developed a love for dates (the fruit) and dark chocolate, so I’ve been making these bars for about two years now. These have gone through many iterations. I’ve even incorporated pecan butter, thanks to a local farmer I work with who supplies me with fresh pecans.
I call them Mint Cookie Go-Bars. I’ve also started cutting them into thin bars and coating them in tempered chocolate - like a refined Twix, but better. Today I tried dipping the bottoms of the larger bars in chocolate for a thin, crunchy layer. Big fan of that move. Kind of fucked up the drizzle across the top since the chocolate was bit difficult to work with after a while.
I’d love to launch an online shop for these and rebrand them with a fresh name, accepting only #Bitcoin through BTCpay. Still figuring out the best way to set that up, but it’s in the works. Any suggestions?
