My laptop had been slow typing. Waiting 3 or 4 beats before what I typed showed up on the screen, then all the letters pouring out in a stream. Annoying, particularly because Delete did the same thing. But who's gonna buy a new laptop for that?
Then the laptop slid off a low stool. Cracked the screen. Repair was outrageous. I bought a new laptop, and I can see how frustrating living with the old one had actually been.
