When the groups is gigantic we go to an all you can eat "rodízio" style place (you pay once and servers bring out random pizza flavors that you can take slices off)
I guess it's just hard to see what would prevent a group from doing the former in the US, unless the plain cheese slice is just cheaper, people here would be genuinely pissed off if all they had for dinner was mozzarela pizza
