I know that is how it's supposed to work. But don't you think we won't be able to win this time against IBIT, MSTR and the SBR?

Yes, we'll still be on the "good" fork, but they also have the media, so new people will use their Bitcoin. They'll have the better, more compliant, faster Bitcoin. And also the "supply-enhanced so everyone can have a little" one.

When new shops accept Bitcoin... which one will they accept? The freak, cypher-punk one, or the government sanctioned one?

Also, another attack vector nobody talked about: a lot of Bitcoiners have good amount of stock of the "money printing machine" MSTR. Some of them have it in retirement accounts. What if a fork is proposed by IBIT/SBR and MSTR stock is frozen for some months until the fork's result is settled? Which BTC do you think all those bitcoiners will sell and which one will they stack the results into?
