If you construct a “good team” around your own identity, with people who are very similar to yourself, and then apply this simplistic moral framework, you eventually have to bend over backwards to fit actual reality into it where people make mistakes or hold conflicting views or are views that are very different from your own outside of your shared identity.
And from there it’s easy to construct a “bad team” from anyone who has done one thing that your team considers “bad” and everyone who is similar to that person.
And it should surprise nobody that this happens along the lines of existing structural inequalities and othering, because the “good team” was constructed based on similarity.
