I learned of banoffee pie this week.
I used to bake & cook more before the pandemic started. The additional reproductive labour of the pandemic sucked & culinary adventure tanked. Over the past few weeks, I have been prioritizing food fun. A large batch of bread weekly (a Before Times staple). New recipes. Old faves.
I made dulce de leche with coconut milk this afternoon. Graham cracker dough is chilling. Banoffee pie will be made tomorrow.
