#OTD 11 July 1840 Erik Edward Fors was born in Björnlunda Parish, Södermanland. Sweden began building the railways when he was a teen and Edward jumped on board. He first worked as a bricklayer, being promoted to management by the time he retired in 1904. He married and raised 5 children, moving many times around southern Sweden. My brother recently visited a former railway station and home where our 2nd-great-grandparents lived during his career.
