While I’m not sure I’m willing to admit that refraction measurements of the eye are medical to the point of it making sense to require a prescription for eyeglasses, I like the idea you are going after.
My bias is against scam artists called optometrists sucking value out of society by making it unlawful to sell lenses to people without their approval. Unless it’s reading glasses in which case they dgaf.
