We need a BTC non profit that helps local non-profits leverage BTC in two ways:
1. Very cheap cross border payments. Many charities send small amounts overseas and get killed on fees.
2. Receiving BTC donations with instant conversion to cash. Not being able to do this both reduces the net amount recieved from donors who use BTC as a source of funds then have to convert to fiat & pay taxes before donating. Many donations from such individuals just don’t occur for these reasons as they seek more efficient charities.
Plugging non-profits into BTC even with instant fiat conversion will open up a huge new audience to orange pilling, give a very sympathetic use case for defensive purposes and help out many great, small charities who just don’t have any tech/financial savvy to attempt something like this.
