I don't know enough science to evaluate it properly, but this paper seems to be suggesting that antihistamines (specifically H1 antagonists) might inhibit COVID 19, which would explain why I managed to avoid it for so long (I take 2 strong antihistamines daily, although they aren't the ones specifically tested in the study).
