I suggested to a friend of mine who was laid off that he start coding for bounties on open source projects. He replied, "it's been 20 years since I've programmed. I've been a manager." I don't understand this thinking.
If your car broke down, would you ride a bike even if you hadn't ridden one for 20 years? Some things you just don't forget how to do.
