I was feeling stressed out and hopeless, but then I remembered a couple of things.

Despite everything, I'm alive. I have good friends. I love and adore my wife. My children, even though they're not like other children and never will be, are wonderful. I have found a healthy connection to a power greater than myself. I live in a beautiful place. This is a good life.

Depression wants to blind you to all that is good and beautiful.

I live. And as long as I live, I can dare to hope.
