let me tell you a story.
Recently I was trying to transfer money from a bank in Australian to a Bitcoin exchange. After many hours and frustrating conversations the bank which I had been using for 25 years declined my request to transfer the money.
This prompted me to search for new alternatives. I came to realise that most banks are either btc hostile or have limits of 10k per calander month you can transfer to a exchange.
thankfully there was one bank that was happy to facilitate the transfer. however I had to do a 2 hour screening phone call to get the fund transferred approved.
long story short. it felt like I had no control over my own money. this was truly the first time I had experienced this. it opens my eyes to how important permissionless money is. after this I aped everything into BTC as to avoid this feeling ever again.
