Judging is fine. But going from over 200 grams of sugar per day (2 liters) to 0.5 grams of swetener is an improvement that I will take anyday.
I got interested in this a few years ago, when I asked myself why Thai people, who all used to be skinny, many are now chubby and fat. Obviously it wasn't carbs (they eat a lot of rice). Processed foods and added sugar, along swith sweet beverages (Coffee/Soda/Thai Tea) seem to be the culprit.
