One side effect of the Fediverse that’s not mentioned in the n00b guides (as far as I know)…

Learning so much more about computers! My computing was so basic when I came here and in a lot of ways it still is but I run servers, have way more privacy, have the tools to avoid Zuckerberg and Schmidt and touch type really slowly.
