Someone should make a city building game where part of the goal is to build out car infrastructure. Then at some point in the game it becomes time for maintenance. First just a few roads because you didn't build that many roads when you started the game, but then it starts pile on and on and on until you bankrupt yourself on the maintenance costs of cars.
