It will be funny if all this trade war stuff leads to new products out of the cutoff Eastern sphere which do what people want them to, but they’re not available in the Western sphere because of decoupling and doubling down on the established order of planned obsolescence, IP rights enforcement etc.
I can see a real path to that future.
