I cancelled all my news subscriptions after the election and have actively avoided almost all news. But somehow, when my wife asks me about some current event, I can give her the highlights. That’s how invasive that shit is. Also, how it doesn’t really pay to wallow in it. You can know roughly what’s going on without getting up to your neck in it.
