STOP MAKING SENSE
On occasion, while shooting with my SLR, I use the timer function in combination with a tripod to keep the camera dead still (particularly in low light). If, say, I take a number of shots of a certain object, inevitablility there are times when I notice something *off* only a split second after I tap the touch screen to take the shot. Wanting to make clear to my future self that this is not a shot to use, in the few seconds as the timer ticks away (almost always three for me), I wave my hand in front of the lens. Later, as I download the results, it's clear to me which the dodgy photo is right away and I delete it then.
This makes little sense. It's crazy, I know. I could simply delete the dodgy photo on my camera right after I take it, but for some nutty reason that kind of breaks my flow. And so, the waving hand.
Today I was photographing an old lamp to sell and the same thing happened. But this time I quite liked the result.
And that's why, good people, I am on Pixelfed!
:-)
