For the whole last (really warm) week there was a moment at 5 in the morning when the cicadas would start buzzing, all together, the whole valley.

Yesterday night there was a storm, in the morning it was cooler. They started but...I guess it was too cold for them? They went silent almost immediately

Today they are more cautious, they are muttering, buzzing a little, one here, one there...

and I still don't know what is that makes them start buzzing.
