A reminder: ERGs and DEI initiatives were never out of the goodness of employer's hearts. Largely they began and got popularized as a way to keep unions out of white collar industries. Minorities have always been some of the forefront of union pushes. ERGs made for a convenient way to pack all the rabble rousers into manageable clubs, all for the low low price of a token budget and face time with a manger. Get the most motivated workers who want to improve working conditions into doing extra unpaid labor, make them field employee complaints. Modern Pinkertons will even use dei language in their union busting campaigns.

The way you get a company to respect minorities isn't through posting angry messages on internal boards or having your ERGs complain. It's giving some relevant to your industry unions a call and asking to set up a meeting with a few friends to learn how to start.
