ASICS accept a voltage range, starting around 12v to slightly above 14v. My understanding is that charge controllers in the tuner regulate voltage to the acceptable range, and the tuner dynamically tunes the chips for desired performance based on incoming voltage.
I successfully ran an s9 on a 24v system. Depending on your system specs, it’s possible you could run your asic on your current system on sunny days when you have excess electricity.
