agree strongly. i've been using btrfs on endeavour for months now and it's saved me a bit of drama here and there. it's only on this recent install i thought i'd set up grub snapshots and.. yeah.. it works in theory, but the menu sometimes doesn't show, and it's obvious i've done something wrong.
i'm really tempted to switch to opensuse because this is just sorted from the get go.
